Let us help you in your recovery so that you can have a healthier relationship with yourself, and with food.

Nourishment Package

Whilst eating disorder recovery, or improving your relationship with food is individual, we also recognise that a lot of support and guidance is needed during this journey.  We work with all eating disorder and disordered eating clients for a minimum of 12-weeks, meeting on a weekly basis.

Eating Disorders & Disordered Eating

Here at Urban Wellness, we provide specialised nutritional support for eating disorders and disordered eating.  We take a functional medicine approach to all our clients, looking at the possible physiological factors that may be affecting your relationship with food, as well as the lifestyle and psychological factors.

Every relationship with food is very individual, despite any diagnosis, and at Urban Wellness we make sure our approach is individual and tailored to you.  It may be the first time that you are reaching out for help, or maybe you’ve tried other therapies before.

You may also be in active recovery working with a psychotherapist or psychiatrist.  We work alongside many other therapists, GPS and CAMHS, and are happy to work collaboratively for you.

We are experienced in working with a wide range of mental health challenges, from teenagers through to late adulthood.  We will look at potential underlying factors that could be contributing to your poor mental health, including gut health, nutrients deficiencies, genetics, and hormones.

Eating Disorder Nutritionists

All of our eating disorder nutritionists have trained with the National Centre For Eating Disorders and are a Master Practitioner in Eating Disorders & Obesity, which is approved by The British Psychological Society.

Clarity Calls are 30-minute introductory consultations. A fee is payable at booking, redeemable against a package within 14 days, and subject to our 48‑hour cancellation and rescheduling policy.

What's a Clarity Call? Let's talk about what it gives you.

1

Before Your Call

When you book your call, we'll ask you to complete a short Clarity Call questionnaire to help us understand more about what is going on for you, and so we use every minute of your call properly.

2

During the call

You'll talk through what's been going on for you. We'll listen, we'll ask the right questions, and we'll share an honest picture of what we think is happening and how we can help.

3

After the call

If we're the right fit after your Clarity Call, you'll move straight into a package with your practitioner. This is where the real work begins. Book within 14 days of your Clarity Call and we credit your fee against the cost. From there, our packages provide the tailored, consistent support you need to build real change.

The Clarity Call is an investment in your health's next step, not just a conversation.

A Clarity Call is a focused 30-minute conversation with one of our team. Here's what you get:

“I feel like I’m eating a wide variety of fruits/vegs/proteins - I’ve been experimenting with lots of different types. I feel I’m friends with my body, so I want to nurture it. Instead of blaming my body for not working properly I feel like I understand it now that it has shown me it can work properly if I take the care and attention to feed it the right foods.”

Your journey to a better relationship with food

Clarity Call

Book a 30-minute clarity call so we can better understand your needs, and you can decide if we are the right fit for you. We'll also explain in more detail about how we work and can answer any questions.  See below for Clarity Call T&CS

01

In-depth Assessment

During our first session, we take time to understand your unique health history story, current symptoms and overall wellbeing. We’ll explore key systems that need support and help identify possible root causes for your mental health challenges.  At the end, you’ll have your first personalised action steps to start making meaningful progress.

02

Personalised programme

Within 48-hours of each session, you’ll receive a personalised plan with clear, achievable steps – covering nutrition, lifestyle, supplement advice (if required) and optional functional testing.  We make changes gradually so you’ll never feel overwhelmed, and you can start taking positive action straight away.

03

Accountability and on-going support

You’re never alone in your journey.  In-between sessions, you can message us with questions or updates – so you feel supported, accountable and confident to make lasting change.

04

Follow-up sessions

We’ll meet once a week for 45 minutes per session. Each week we reassess how your week has been and what the focus is for the following week. Step-by-step moving you forward with personalised support.

05

Functional testing

Functional testing can be a valuable tool in your health journey, helping us explore underlying factors that may impact your mental wellbeing. We’ll always begin with a thorough assessment before recommending any tests, so you never spend money unnecessarily.  Functional testing is optional, and you’ll have the choice to proceed only if, and when, it’s genuinely relevant to your programme.

06

Supplements

Supplements can play an important role, especially at the beginning of your journey, by helping to target nutritional gaps and support your progress.  Any recommendations will be tailored for you – based on your needs and goals, not a generic protocol.  For added value, we offer a 10% discount on all supplements we recommend as part of your plan.
